Okay... Perhaps the topic i have chosen to discuss is a bit different for a "gaming" community.  Perhaps it isn't.  In either case i pose this question to you: WHY DO WE DO WHAT WE DO?  Why does Newnmproved scratch his ass and then smell his finger? Oh sorry, i mean scratch his nose. Is there something embedded deep in our subconscious that tells us to do exactly what people tell us not to do?  Or is it just human nature?  

       You will find more questions than answers from a person like me, because I truly believe that wonderment is the pinnacle of our mind's immense capacity. Sure it is nice to KNOW that you got the first 25 kill streak in MW2 for the clan, but if nobody else was playing would that even be possible?  And for that matter, would you still be playing?  That was probably a poor setup for my point, but it is this: Everyone wants to be an individual,  have the "first ______," the "most ______ ," the "biggest _______," (okay the last blank is definitely penis ) but without knowing , we all seem to be slaves to one trend or another.  Maybe it is just me, but it seems that every person i know can be painted with some sort of "broad stroke,"and I am no exception.  This fact is both depressing and amazing.  For instance my mother is the most intriguing person i know, yet still she could easily be categorized as an "extremely liberal tree hugging hippie bitch."  We all have people we look up to and admire without realizing that we are exactly the same, not in a literal sense but philosophically.  We all can be painted with some "broad stroke" even though society conditions us to believe that there is something wrong about this.  Take a commercial i recently loathed for instance... "Be an individual" it said.  Really!?!?!? If i am an individual would that not make me the only, or at least one of few people buying your shit? Good advertising. Really it is, because they know that society's desire to be an individual is so great that we will believe (in some sense) that their product gets us closer to obtaining that individuality.  But is it even possible?  I think that it is not, but hell im just some gamer with admin rights to a site that allows me to publish an article such as this so, WHAT DO I KNOW?  But if it is not our desire for "the best and only" that drives us onward in our pursuit of whatever the fuck, then what is it?  Why do we cling to those who build us up just to bring us down?  Why are we in constant pursuit of unattainable perfection?  Why do we tend to lust more than we love?  Why do we DO?

       There it is... Answer if you DARE! Lmao... This article reads like a rant because I intended for it to.  The truth is my Ex-Girlfriend is in an abusive relationship that she wont get out of and nobody can convince her to.  That got me thinking...... WHY? Why stick around for a love that is given with the back of a hand?  Why cling to a love who's flame has long been extinguished (ME.)  WHY DO WE DO?  Maybe the more important and relevant question is HOW DO WE DO IT?
